 PRESIDENT DEPOWA ATTENDS MODHIP–WRAIR NIGERIA 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF PARTNERSHIP AND IMPACT

The President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Gwabin Musa, on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, attended the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the partnership between the Nigerian Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Program (MODHIP) and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), held in Abuja.

The event marked two decades of impactful collaboration in advancing health interventions, research, and capacity development in Nigeria, particularly in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and broader public health initiatives. It brought together government officials, military leaders, health experts, and international partners to reflect on achievements and strengthen commitments for future cooperation.

Highlights of the celebration featured a drama presentation, cultural dance performances, and group photographs.
