 PRESIDENT DEPOWA ATTENDS NAFOWA BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK/TALK

The President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Gwabin Musa was represented by Mrs. Rejoice Wesley at the Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA) Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Talk held on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at the NAF Base Parade Ground, Abuja.

The event, themed “Hope and Courage in Every Step: Breaking the Silence on Breast Cancer,” was organized as part of activities to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It brought together members of NAFOWA, DEPOWA, and other sister associations to raise awareness on the importance of early detection, regular medical checkups, and healthy living as key measures in combating breast cancer.

Highlights of the event included a cancer awareness walk within the NAF Base, a health talk by facilitators, and group photographs.
