Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, hosted the campaign for the organisation of African Ladies for Development # We Are Equal . The event took place on Monday 13 May 2024 at the State House Banquet Hall,Presidential Villa,Abuja. The campaign launch with the theme: ” Education as a powerful Tool for Change: No Girl left Behind.” The concept of the alternative education for girls was conceived out of the desire to ensure that young girls who dropped out of school for reasons such as early pregnancies, economic hardship,child marriage or those who were marginalised due to cultural or social barriers had another opportunity to go back to school to complete high school, aquire further education and valuable life skills, to enable them reach their full potential in life.

Highlights of the occasion was the welcome address by his Excellency, the President Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Good will messages by development partners, Special Address by the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON and Group photographs.
