The President Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), who was ably represented by Mrs Deborah Unurhiere on Tuesday 2nd July, 2024 at DEPOWA Secretariat donated sanitary kits to the founding President, SERAPHINE OUTREACH INITIATIVE Dr Nwosu Seraphine Chioma.

This donation was made in response to the leader of Saraphine Outreach Initiative and her team, who were at the Secretariat on a courtesy call to the President DEPOWA soliciting for support towards “Save the Girl Child project-2024”.

Mrs Deborah Unurhiere, in her remarks, stated that on behalf of Mrs Oghogho G.Musa, the donations were a symbol of the commitment of the President DEPOWA towards women and girl child empowerment programmes.

The sanitary kits are to be distributed to girls in the military establishments and other secondary schools in four states of the federation, which the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) and Seraphine Outreach Initiative are conducting this year.
