
The President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Gwabin Musa attended the Defence Intelligence Agency Officers’ Wives Association (DIAOWA) Children’s Day Fun Fair on 24 May 2025. The event, themed “Bright Smile, Brighter Future,” was held at the DIA Complex and featured celebrations filled with laughter and excitement.
In her opening remarks, the Coordinator DIAOWA, Mrs. Jane Undiandeye emphasised the importance of recognizing children’s unique qualities, talents, and potentials. She encouraged the children to shine and build a brighter future for themselves.
Delivering her goodwill message, the Special Guest of Honour, Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa, appreciated the host for providing a platform for the children to express themselves. She prayed for God’s blessings on the host and congratulated the children on their special day, encouraging them to develop Christ-like qualities, be obedient, and prioritize their studies.
Distinguished attendees included the Hon. Minister for Women Affairs, Hajiya Sulaiman Ibrahim, represented by Princess Jummai Idonije, members of DEPOWA and DIAOWA, Directors of DIA, and other special guests. The event featured various fun games, cutting of cake and group photographs.
