The President DEPOWA Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa was a special guest at the unveiling ceremony of TA Lagbaja Cantonment. The Ikeja Military Cantonment was renamed to honour the late COAS, General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, on his posthumous birthday as a means to immortalise him on 28 February 2025.

In attendance was the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state Council members, Special Guest of Honour (SGOH), the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa OFR. The Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede; commandants, and commanders from tri-services, members of DEPOWA, NAOWA, NAFOWA, traditional leaders amongst other distinguished guests.
