The Tuberculosis Modular Laboratory is a collaborative initiative between the Nigerian Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme (MODHIP) and the United States of America Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Africa Programme. This partnership underscores the commitment of both nations to addressing the growing health challenges posed by infectious diseases, particularly tuberculosis.
The event was graced by the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Muhammed Matawalle MON, who was the Special Guest of Honour, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana MNI, the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, the Commander of WRAIR, Colonel Eli Lozano, and other distinguished dignitaries.
