Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, hosted a high -level regional seminar on promoting cancer awareness and advocacy programmes for the African member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Ladies. The event took place on Thursday, 16 May 2024, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Congress Hall Abuja. The seminar with the theme: “Innovation Approaches To Cancer Prevention and Early Detection ” had first ladies of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation that shared their national experiences on cancer control in their respective countries. The President DEPOWA Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa , NAOWA President Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, among other dignitaries, graced the occasion. Remarks was made by her Excellency, the First Lady of the Republic of Tunisia Her Excellency Mademe Ichraf Saied, while the keynote address was delivered by the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON.

Climax of the occasion was a dinner in honour of all the guests that came for the seminar, goodwill messages, and group photographs.
