Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON on 1 August 2024 at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa Abuja unveiled the Awardees of AUDA-NEPAD/African School of Economics/ Renewed Hope Initiative Scholarship Programme drawn from all states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory. The President DEPOWA Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa and other wives of service chiefs and the wife of the Inspector General of Police were in attendance.

The essence of the scholarship programme is to identify the brightest scholars from all over Nigeria and offer them to a world class tertiary education.
Through a selection process, 200 of the most talented students were selected from 2000 applications that were gathered from across the 36 States including the Federal Capital Territory and were given admission and academic scholarship to study for different undergraduate degree programmes at the African School of Economics in Nigeria. Among the beneficiaries, a student from NAOWA and 2 students from NAFOWA were awarded.

In attendance were Ministers,Diplomats, wives of governors, among other dignitaries .
Highlights of the event were symbolic presentations to the beneficiaries and group photographs.
