 PRESIDENT DEPOWA EMPOWERS WOMEN AT THE NEHEMIAH INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS CAMP KAFANCHAN KADUNA STATE

The President DEPOWA Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa and members were at the Nehemiah Internally Displaced Persons(IDP) Camp on 3 September 2025 at Kafanchan Kaduna State in collaboration with Christopher Oghogho Foundation to empower women at the camp.

The leadership of the IDP camp headed by the senior Pastor Governors Assembly Reverend Gideon Mutum, welcomed the President DEPOWA and her entourage to the camp and deeply appreciated the support she has been rendering to the IDP camp through payments of WAEC Examination fee for qualified candidates that couldn’t afford and the drilling of a Borehole that serves the IDP camp and neighbouring communities. Reverend Gideon prayed that God Almighty will continue to bless and sustain the President DEPOWA as she keeps impacting humanity.

Goodwill messages were delivered by the deputy chairman Jema’a local government, Honourable Emmanuel Moses and wife of the Bishop of Zonkwa Diocese Mrs Rhoda Kwashi.

Delivering her remark the President DEPOWA Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa appreciated God Almighty for the privilege to render assistance and further urged the beneficiaries to ensure they utilise the items being provided. Items donated by the President DEPOWA include 42 sets of Grinding Machines, 23 sewing machines, 186 wrappers, 4 wheel chairs, cash presentations and food items. The women at the IDP camp were full of joy and expressed their appreciation to the President DEPOWA for providing succour to women and the vulnerable in the society.

Highlights of the event were presentations of items to the IDP women and group photographs.
