The President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association, Mrs Oghogho G.Musa was at the DEPOWA Nursery, Primary and Secondary School Hall, Mogadishu Cantonment, Asokoro on Thursday, 25th July, 2024; where starter packs were officially presented to beneficiaries of batch 14, 15 and 16 of 2023 trainees of DEPOWA Skills Acquisition Centre (DSAC).

Major B.J. Ananya, the Coordinator of DSAC gave a brief, stating that the 54 beneficiaries present have undergone internship at 28 organisations and have satisfied the requirements to benefit from the starter packs which will assist them to be self employed.

The President DEPOWA, in her remarks, acknowledged the beneficiaries for completing their internship and encouraged them to make good use of the starter packs. Mrs Oghogho G. Musa further stated that a website has been created to showcase the progress of DSAC beneficiaries to the public.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of starter packs to the 54 beneficiaries and group photographs.
