The Personal and Planning Visioning workshop was held at the Cadet Mess, Nigerian Defence Academy Ribadu Cantonment, which was facilitated by Celina Unogwu Visionary Academy (CUVA)

The President DEPOWA, Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa, in her remarks, stated that the visioning and planning workshop was organised for the women to gain clarity on what they needed to do and also to build their capacity. She added that the aim of the workshop is to bring out the potential within all women participating so as to be able to plan and get clarity of our vision to ensure that core areas of our lives are balanced.

The Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy represented by the deputy Commandant Air Vice Mashal SK Aneke on the first day encouraged women to pay attention to the information shared in the workshop while commending the President DEPOWA for initiating the laudable programme.

The lead facilitator of CUVA, Ms Celina Unogwu gave insights on personal visioning and clarification of life purpose, self-Discovery on the first day while on the second day, she enlightened the participants on vision and visualization, vision board foundation, visioning for vision board creation and vision board creation.

The Coordinator NDCOWA, Mrs Ruth Ochai, was represented by the Deputy Coordinator; Mrs Ngozi Aneke gave the closing remarks while Mrs Dakwat from NAFOWA gave the vote of thanks.

The Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy, Major General JO Ochai while giving his remarks, appreciated and applauded the dedication of the President DEPOWA towards ensuring her members are well informed towards self development.

Highlights of the event include experience sharing from the participants, presentation of certificates to participants, and group photographs.
