 PRESIDENT DEPOWA ATTENDS NURSES WEEK CELEBRATION ORGANISED BY DEFENCE HEADQUARTERS MEDICAL CENTRE

The President DEPOWA Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa was represented by Mrs Rejoice Wesley at the Nurses Week Celebration organised by the Defence Headquarters Medical Centre on 6 May 2024. During her remarks as Special Guest of Honor she stated that “This year’s theme “Our Nurses, Our Future: The Economic Power of Care” recognises the invaluable contributions of nurses and underscores the pivotal role they play in shaping the future of healthcare and the broader economy.
Their dedication knows no bounds, and their commitment to improving the lives of others is truly remarkable. She further stated that beyond the essential role nurses play in delivering healthcare services, nurses also drive economic growth and development in various ways.

In a separate remark, the Commander DHQ Medical Centre Surgeon Captain Victor Chukwu Igboezue
encouraged the nurses to continue to care for the sick and wounded with passion, empathy, and kindness. He also urged the personnel of DHQ Medical Centre to remain committed in discharging their duties.
