The President Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association ( DEPOWA) Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Christopher Gwabin Musa OFR at the Defence Headquarters on 14 September 2023. The essence of the visit was to congratulate the CDS on his appointment and to solicit for the support of the CDS in actualising the plans DEPOWA has to asssit families of personnel in the barracks and beyond and to further providing succour to the vulnerable in the society. Responding, the CDS appreciated DEPOWA for the visit and stated that they can count on his support anytime.
The President DEPOWA was accompanied on the visit by the President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association Mrs Mariya Lagbaja, President Police Officers’ Wives Association Mrs Elizabeth Egbetokun, representatives of the President Naval Officers’ Wives Association,President Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association and Coordinators of the various tri-service Institutions. Highpoints of the visit was the presentation of sourvenirs and group photographs.
