To further assist the widows, youths and the vulnerable in the barracks community and beyond, President Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association ( DEPOWA) Mrs Oghogho Musa visited the Chief of Army Staff( COAS) Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja at the Army Headquarters 21 September 20 to intimate the COAS on the activities of DEPOWA and how they can support the Military in non-kinetic ways towards showing love to the vulnerable in the barracks and beyond.
She was accompanied on the visit by the President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association Mrs Mariya Lagbaja, President Police Officers’ Wives Association Mrs Elizabeth Egbetokun, ,Vice President of NOWA Mrs Zainab Akpan and the representative Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association. Coordinators of the various tri-service Institutions. Highpoints of the visit was the presentation of sourvenirs and group photographs.
